In Singapore you will not find an outlet in a bathroom – at least not in buildings that were constructed more recently. This is a small inconvenience in general: you simply charge your electric toothbrush or razor in your bedroom. Easy. For me, there is however another element of this inconvenience which cannot be solved as easily. Bathrooms consequently do not have an air conditioning. And given my apparently very vulnerable body composition, I start sweating in small spaces very quickly. And I mean by that that I literally have water droplets forming on my back like condensation on a cool glass of Coke. Depending on the situation, a bit of air movement can already prevent this (more or less).
And so this is what Lamia secretly got me in her weekend order from Redmart:
A battery powered fan.
I’ve installed it on the window sill, ready for cooling action.
Thank you, honey! – let’s see how much this will help.
