With wife and son gone, I get to do some of the things I wanted to do for a while, but which always ended up as lower priority in the face of baby challenges. Basic things. Like filing documents for our helper which I had stuffed into a shelf and which did not look nice. More filing, this time of old bills and credit card statements. Then I went to the gym and ran on the tread mill for 35 minutes (equals more or less 6500 steps in case you’ve wondered). And after a shower even more filing, namely some of the original documents we needed for applying for Oskar’s passports.
As I was going through all that stuff I noticed a little bag of M&M’s on the table.
Right. Fely and Nagi got these to announce Oskar’s birth with colleagues and friends (which once more painfully reminds me that I did not manage to make a card for Oskar – and I am not sure it makes sense to still do one).
Very nice. Each M&M has his name and birthday printed:
After taking the photos and playing with different apertures (f11 was best for the second one), I then did what I should have done already a few weeks ago: I greedily and selfishly ate them all.
Thanks, Fely and Nagi :)
