This morning we just arrived at the Yio Chu Kang swimming pool complex for Oskar’s swimming class when it started to rain quite heavily. I am always already in my swim trunks when going there, but Lamia still had to change – which meant walking from the rain shelter at the pool side to the changing rooms on the far side of the pool.
Richard, the coach, had an idea how to get her there nice and dry…
Oskar seemed to enjoy the lessons more than usual. We normally have some crying to deal with, particularly when Richard dunks him into the pool for a second (which did not happen today). But also, Oskar has never been really keen on climbing onto the swimming mattress (the same that Richard used as a cover to bring Lamia to the changing rooms). Today he couldn’t get enough of climbing onto and jumping from it.
Looks like he’s getting more into these classes.
But we’ll find out: we’ll continue sending him for another 4 months and then we’ll see.
